About the Journal

UVP-report is the member journal of the UVP-Gesellschaft e.V. (EIA Association in the German-speaking countries), published by Berlin Universities Publishing (BerlinUP). Peer-reviewed articles are published online first.

We publish full papers, review papers, opinions (single-blind peer-reviewed articles), reports from research, practice, law, columns, book reviews (editor-reviewed reports), positions, and association information. Special issues with a thematic focus may be published as needed.

Since 1987, UVP-report informs about current developments in politics, academia and practice and addresses planning and consulting professionals in the field of environmental precaution in science, practice, politics, and administration as well as the interested public. Since 2024, the journal's subtitle is "Environmental Precaution, Planning and Assessment", before "Information on Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management and Sustainable Development".
